The mission of Youth Connections Mentoring Program (YCMP) is to provide a mentor to any youth in need, and to implement support programs to the whole family, helping youth to reach their full potential, while helping to build functional and supportive families. Strengthening Families and supporting youth helps the whole community. YCMP also provides a mental health equine therapy program for youth that would benefit from hippotherapy versus a regular mentor/mentee match, or both. YCMP implements the Strengthening Families Program (SFP), a nationally recognized program, to families involved in our agency, or anyone in the community that would benefit. The SFP program helps families learn how to communicate better, set aprop boundaries/limits, problem solve, and develop their own support network.
